70 years ago, the Kufsteiner KR Hans F. Reisch laid the foundation for the SPAR retail chain in Austria. Today, SPAR is the market leader in the domestic grocery trade. The very first SPAR market, known as the SPAR founding market, was established at the Unterer Stadtplatz in Kufstein. The round anniversary was the occasion to completely modernize this market, digitize it, and make it shine again as a role model. At the same time, the facade of the building was redesigned according to historical models.
