The Johann Niederkofler tannery is now in its fourth generation of producing high-quality hides and leather. The craft of tanning is centuries old, but even in this trade, time does not stand still: Johann Niederkofler and his team are committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly production methods and are one of the first tanneries in the world to work with a vegetable tanning agent made from olive leaves, which is 100% biodegradable.
