Description

24 well-protected multi-pitch routes lead through the wall. Due to its south-facing orientation, climbing is possible almost all year round. However, it can get very hot in the summer. A helmet is absolutely essential. Extreme caution is required when other climbers are already on the wall. Rocks on ledges and terraces can easily be dislodged when pulling up the rope, posing a danger to climbers below.

Approach: From the parking lot near the Raftingalm, follow the signs to the Geierwand via ferrata. The path leads across a meadow, then follows the highway for a short distance until you reach the overpass. After crossing, follow the marked trail to the starting point of the Geierwand via ferrata. To reach the climbing routes, turn left onto the forest road after the overpass, pass a rockfall barrier, and then continue uphill along the path.
