Haiming | KG Simmering
At Simmering, there are numerous well-protected single- and multi-pitch routes. The area consists of several sectors and offers interesting climbing opportunities, especially for those who prefer lower difficulty grades.
The climbing garden was developed by Dieter Blüml.
Parking is available between Magerbach (Haiming) and the hamlet of Simmering (Silz) on the left side. Please adhere to the driving restrictions! From here, the Haiming climbing area is also within equal walking distance.
An agreement with the hunting leaseholder states that climbing is not permitted between October 31 and December 31. Please respect this regulation!
Climbing in the Simmering climbing garden is possible even on warm winter days.
Due to the TIWAG power plant construction site, there will be restrictions on the use of the Simmering climbing garden starting Tuesday, February 4, 2025. The Oktopus sector is permanently closed.
The sectors Sandbank, Aquarium, Lagune, Plankton, Koralle, and Grauer Pfeiler remain accessible via the forest road from Silz (entry north of Crazy Eddy after the highway overpass).
Walking distance from Crazy Eddy: approximately 1.5 km
Note: Construction work and blasting will take place near the climbing area. Noise and dust formation are to be expected.
