Approach

About 100 meters north of the Gasthof Zillertal in Mayrhofen, you'll find parking spaces. The trail to the climbing route begins at the garden fence of the last house. After about 100 meters downhill, you'll reach the entrance path on the left side of the forest.

Descent

From the exit, you can reach the Gasthof Zimmereben in a few minutes by descending. From there, the trail No. 2C leads back to the starting point via stairs.

Route description

This is a new via ferrata, which, with its nearly 700 climbing meters and a height difference of about 250 meters, is the longest via ferrata in our area.

The Pfeilspitzwand via ferrata offers a varied route and fantastic views. To tackle it, you need a lot of experience and endurance, as you must overcome difficulties of categories C/D over longer stretches.

From the exit, you can reach the Gasthaus Zimmereben in about 5 minutes via a newly constructed hiking trail.
