Route description

The via ferratas around Mayrhofen and the Gasthaus Zimmereben offer an ideal playground for all ability levels and age groups to let off steam. The short approach and descent routes, the Gasthaus Zimmereben at the exit, and the fantastic views over Mayrhofen round off the climbing experience.

The difficulty and length vary depending on the via ferrata:

  • Kinderklettersteig A/B
  • Huterlaner C
  • Zimmereben D/E
  • Pfeilspitzwand C/D
  • Astegg C (extension of Pfeilspitzwand)

There is also a small beginner sport-climbing area (Himmelsleiter) on the descent, right next to the hiking trail
