Description

The sporting offer in the Tuxertal includes 14 km of classic cross-country ski trails and 14 km of skating trails, which lead from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madseit. Please note the direction of the arrow on the cross-country trail! The cross-country ski trail is maintained by the Tux-Finkenberg tourist office and is available for use free of charge.

Trail rules:

1) Please walk in the right lane

2) No dogs on the trail

3) Entering the trail without skis is prohibited

4) Please take your rubbish home with you

Cross-country skiing lessons are given by the ski schools ‘Privatskischule-Schneesport Tux 3000’ (phone 0043 5287 87747) and ‘Ski- und Snowboardschule Tuxertal’ (phone 0043 5287 87755). Cross-country skiing equipment can be hired or purchased from most sports shops. 
Guests from Finkenberg can use the Tux-Finkenberg shuttle (Christophorus line no. 4104 between Mayrhofen and Hintertux) as the free "Tux-Finkenberg shuttle" to the cross-country ski trails on presentation of the Tux-Finkenberg ticket.
