Mountain bikers and e-bike batteries must demonstrate staying power and conserve energy on this tour across several alpine pastures. From Fulpmes via the Froneben middle station of the Schlick 2000 skiing and hiking area and the Galtalm, you have to pedal a fair amount of altitude up to the Kaserstattalm. Before reaching the Knappenhütte (closed), it becomes a little more demanding in terms of riding technique, but most of the ascent is done. When you arrive at the Starkenburger Hütte, you fill up your reservoirs so that you can possibly climb the Hoher Burgstall.
