Day 3 – difficult: From Reith to Brixlegg – over the Montanwerksbrücke to Kramsach/Hagau and to the former Sonnwendjoch cable car – Kaltwasserbründl – Hergottstein – junction Pletzachalm – Bayreuther Hütte – descent to Münster/Grünsbach and via Brixlegg back to Reith i.A.
Winter closure: From 1 November to 1 April of the following year, all MTB routes and cycle paths are closed for safety reasons
There is no snow clearance service on these paths and many MTB routes are avalanche-prone. Depending on the snow conditions, some routes may also be closed longer than until 1 April. Further information on the snow conditions is available at the local tourist office.

From Reith im Alpbachtal to Brixlegg, after the roundabout immediately turn left, follow the road and cross the Montanwerksbrücke to Kramsach, district Hagau. Continue right on the state road and after the roundabout turn left and follow the signs to the Sonnwendjoch cable car.
At the former Sonnwendjoch cable car, turn left next to the valley station onto mountain bike route no. 357. Now it goes partly quite steep uphill, first to the "Kaltwasserl", the "Hergottstein" up to the junction with mountain bike route no. 332. Turn right here and head towards the already visible Bayreuther Hütte.
Return rides lead us back to the well-known intersection (Weiderost), then straight ahead on route no. 332 downhill in many switchbacks towards Grünsbach (district of Münster). At the bus stop in Grünsbach turn left and follow the route to Kramsach/roundabout.
From here, go back to the starting point via the familiar route.
