A varied mountain bike tour through the forests and alpine meadows of Fiss, featuring challenging climbs, beautiful views and inviting refreshment stops.
The Gample Tour is a lovely, selective circuit with a few refreshment stops (such as Frommes Alp, Kuhalm). It’s mainly on gravel paths and leads through the woods and across the mountain pastures of Fiss. One of this tour’s attractions is the bird of prey station on the Frommes Alp.
The tour leads us from the bike park through the village and to the Wolfsee lake. Continue in the direction of Ladis as far as signpost L002 where you turn left uphill to the Falterjöchl. After a short downhill, turn left uphill (L017) to the Schönegg (L020). Keep to the left and follow the trail as far as Rabuschl (F050). This is the start of the first serious climb up to the Frommes Alp (F055). After a short downhill section go right uphill (F019) via Obsteinsboden and down to the Kuhalm (F121). From the Kuhalm it’s an easy downhill ride to Fiss and through the village back to the bike park.
Travel by train to Landeck-Zams railway station. From there, change to bus line 220 towards Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.
By car via the A12 motorway to the Landeck exit, then follow the B171 and L19 towards Fiss. In Fiss, follow the signs to the respective starting point of the bike tour.
