Mountainbike-Tour Kaiserhaus Circuit

Thiersee /
Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 35.2 km

Beautiful loop in the quiet forests of the Brandenberg Alps. Predominantly in the forest, you pass wild, pristine rivers, moorland meadows and worthwhile places to take a break, such as the alpine cheese dairy or the outdoor paradise at the Kaiserhaus.

Description

When you start in Riedenberg, you cover the first and most metres in altitude right at the beginning. At Berggasthof Ackernalm, you can then reward yourself at the highest point of the entire tour, because the adjacent highest alpine cheese dairy in Austria offers alpine cheese, Emmentaler or mountain cheese to melt away. In addition, the view up there with views all the way to the Kaiser Mountains is an absolute highlight. At the end of the tour, we recommend a stop at the idyllically located Berggasthaus Wastler or a relaxation session at the Waldbad Riedenberg swimming pool in the immediate vicinity of the car park.
