Equipment

Winter closure from November 1 to April 1 of the following year: all MTB routes and cycling paths are closed for safety reasons.

These paths have no snow clearing service, and many MTB routes are avalanche-prone. Depending on snow conditions, some routes may be closed longer than until April 1. More information on snow conditions at the local tourism office.

Description

From the lift parking lot of the Reitherkogelbahn, ride uphill and then follow L5 towards Alpbach. After about 300m, follow the old Hygna path by turning right at the Waldschmiede to Hygna. At the Hygna chapel, turn left towards the Kolber district, pass the Gasteighof and continue to Kolberhof. There, turn left downhill to the state road and cross it to return to Reith/lift parking lot.
