MTB tour to the Mittelstation Streuböden
The tour starts at the Streuböden cable car valley station in Fieberbrunn. From here, pass the "S4 Alm" on the left and ride along Krottenweg until you reach the intersection. Turn right towards the Streuböden middle station and follow the forest road further up to the destination.
Connection option to the Lärchfilzhochalmrunde 256:
Option 1: From the middle station, ride up the gravel road to the left towards Berggasthof Wildalpgatterl. Halfway there, cross the meadow and ride down via Zillstatt-Weg towards Lauchsee and the Streuböden valley station.
Option 2: Follow the gravel road up to Berggasthof Wildalpgatterl, then continue left to Lärchfilzhochalm. From there, ride down into the valley and return to the Streuböden valley station via the "Dandlerau" industrial area.
By bus: Bus connections from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the PillerseeTal region. Stop: Fieberbrunn Bergbahn. Free of charge with guest card. Limited bicycle transport possible. Bike rental directly at the starting point, the Streuböden valley station.
By train: Train connection from Wörgl to Hochfilzen (regional trains). Free of charge with guest card. Fieberbrunn station. Limited bicycle transport possible. Travel time to the starting point approx. 10 min.
Coming from St. Johann i.T. or Hochfilzen via the B164 Hochkönig Bundesstraße (coming from Waidring / St. Ulrich via the L2 Pillerseestraße) to Fieberbrunn. At the end / entrance of the village, turn off towards Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn.
