Description

The hike starts in Thierbach at the church. We begin on a gravel path before continuing on a trail towards the Holzalm inn. From the Holzalm onwards, the route becomes technically challenging. The ascent to the summit of the Gratlspitze is partially exposed and secured with ropes in places. The summit cross marks the highest point of the tour. The descent follows the ridge towards the Hösljoch. The route then climbs gently to the Schatzbergbahn mountain station. The downhill section leads past the Gernalm alpine pasture and a small reservoir before returning to the starting point in Thierbach.
