Leisurely hike to the Waldraster Jöchl and Auffindungskapelle chapel.
From the Serles cable car mountain station, follow the forest path in the direction of the Ochsenhütte, where the trail to the Waldraster Jöchl branches off to the right shortly before the hut. The trail leads slightly uphill through the forest to the summit cross of the Waldraster Jöchl. On the cosy bench you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the mighty Serles mountain ridge. The hiking trail now leads downhill on the other side of the valley to the Auffindungskapelle chapel. This chapel tells of the "Miracle of Mary" at Maria Waldrast, a legend from earlier times. At the next fork in the path, you have several options to return to the mountain station. A subsequent visit to the Maria Waldrast monastery is worthwhile.
