There are many reasons to choose the Nürnberger Hütte as a tour destination. For example, because of the alpine summit destinations near the hut, or because of the many mountain lakes in the area. This time, however, we are simply here for the food. The Gault Millau award-winning hut serves many products from its own organic farm and directly from the valley. And the way to the hut is already beautiful...
Varied mountain hike through the scenic Langental valley. The ascent up to the Bsuchalm is on wide forest paths, after which the route leads to the Nürnberger Hütte on a well-maintained path that is stony in places. There are many other natural beauties to discover in the Langental valley, such as the Fernerseen lakes, or you can extend the hut tour by crossing over to the Sulzenauhütte and passing the Grünausee lake on the way. From the Sulzenauhütte, take the Wilde-Wasser trail back down into the valley and return to the starting point by bus. This option is a little more challenging than the hut-only approach and is partly secured by rope at the crossing over the Niederl. Of course, you can also spend the whole day at the Nürnberger Hütte and feast your way through the excellent menu. The ascent to the Nürnberger Hütte is also suitable for children with mountain experience.
Vom Parkplatz kann man dem leichten Steig oder dem kinderwagentauglichen Forstweg ins Langetal zur Bsuchalm folgen. Ab hier führt der stetig ansteigende Pfad in Serpentinen durch Grashänge und zuletzt durch einen kleinen Felsabbruch zur Nürnberger Hütte.
