Description

Blaue Lacke: We leave the Sulzenau Hut in the direction of the Sulzenauferner. We pass the first fork in the trail towards Trögler, at the next one we follow the sign towards Müllerhütte and cross the stream. After the slight ascent over alpine rose-covered terrain, we reach the Blaue Lacke.

Grünausee: The trail leaves the Sulzenauhütte in an easterly direction across the Sulzauer Bach stream to the Übergschritt. There follows a 50m descent into the eroded basin of the Freigerferner (lateral moraines, frontal moraines). The trail continues via the Grünaubach stream up to the side moraine to the Grünausee lake. The lake is beautifully embedded in the green floodplain and immediately captivates with its prickly clear colour.
