Whether early or late in the year—and whenever it’s cool—it’s best to stay on the sunny side of life. Or of the Stubai Valley. The Sunnseitnweg trail runs at a moderate elevation along the southern side of the Stubai Valley. Our highlight is the suspension bridge made of bright orange Corten steel.
An easy circular hike on the south side of the Stubai Valley, which means it’s still sunny there early and late in the year. Highlights include the Neustiftblick nature viewpoint and the 110-meter-long suspension bridge. Easily accessible by public transportation.
OPTION 3 – ROUND COURSE: PARKING BACHERTAL – SUSPENSION BRIDGE / SCENIC NATURE SITE „NEUSTIFTBLICK“ – PFURTSCHELL – EBNERHOF – PARKING BACHERTAL
Start and finish: Parking Bachertal (1.040 m)
Walking time: 3 hours (1 ¼ hour to the suspension bridge)

This tour starts at the parking Bachertal slightly above the village center of Neustift. If you use the public bus, exit it at the stop “Ortsmitte” (village center) and go on straight for about 200 meters. Shortly after the Pardeller bakery turn right and follow that road for about 5 minutes until you reach the Bachertal parking
