Description:
From the upper station Wannjochbahn to Bescheisser (2,000 m), further to Ponten (2,045 m) and ascent to Rohnenspitze (1,990 m)
Directions:From the upper station Wannenjochbahn, continue on paths No. 75a/75/70 to Bscheisser (2,000 m), about 2 hours. Descent to Güntle, short ascent to Ponten (2,045 m), path No. 70/70a, about 3/4 hour. Descent to Zirleseck (1,872 m), about 1/2 hour. Ascent to Rohnenspitze. ATTENTION!! Initially there is a rope securing, but surefootedness is required. Path No. 62, about 3/4 hour. Descent into Pontental, path No. 62, and further on the forest road, path No. 71, to Zöblen or path No. 72/73 to Schattwald, about 2 hours. Total walking time about 6 hours.
Further descent options:
a) via Zirleseck and Güntle descent to Stuibenalpe, further to Schattwald along the Stuibenbach, or Zöblen forest road No. 71, about 2 hours total walking time 6 hours
b) from Zirleseck to Älpele, and to Tannheim, forest road No. 59, about 2 hours, or to Schattwald, about 2 hours. Total walking time about 6 hours.
c) from Zirleseck to Älpele, path No. 59a/59 and to Tannheim, forest road No. 59, about 2 hours. Back to Schattwald on the circular hiking trail No. 1, about 1 hour
or by hiking bus. Total walking time about 6 3/4 hours.
