Description

Elfer mountain station - Elferhütte - Elferspitze - Zwölfernieder - Zwölferspitze

From the Elferbahn mountain station, take the serpentine path up to the Elferhütte and from here continue up to the Elferspitze on stony terrain. The summit cross can be reached on a rocky path secured with wire ropes and steel steps. The last few metres are very exposed and require surefootedness and a head for heights. Below the summit, the trail leads downhill to Zwölfernieder. From here the demanding ascent to the Zwölferspitze begins. This very exposed trail requires absolute surefootedness and a head for heights.
