Description

On the connecting path Franz Senn Hütte - Amberger Hütte we hike towards Alpeiner Ferner. We climb over the western marginal moraine to an altitude of 2170m, where we leave trail no. 131 in a right-hand loop and climb steeply in a north-westerly direction. The marked trail, which does not cross a glacier, now leads us below the Turmferner past a lake, to the summit of the Aperer Turm. The passage to the summit cross is equipped with fixed ropes. On the spacious summit you have a wonderful view of the surrounding glacier world.
