From the car park at Hörndlinger Graben, a short cross-country trail leads directly up to the forest road. Follow this gravel road over serpentines up to the Hochhörndler Alm, always on the sunny side of the valley. In the upper area you can see the cables and supports of the TirolS-Bahn and the Hochhörndl chairlift. This valley crossing is the connection to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. The panorama gets wider with every curve you hike up .
The way back leads along the same route. At the end of the tour, the inn Pulvermacher Almhütte, a little way out of the valley, next to the valley station of the TirolS cable car, invites you for a stop.
