Hornköpflsee
With the Hornbahn I and the Horn Gipfelbahn gondolas up to an altitude of around 2000 metres. In a short hike of approx. 15 minutes you can reach the entrance to the Alpine Flower Garden. There you can experience the flora of the alpine mountains of Tyrol up close, biologists offer free guided hikes there.
After the alpine flower garden, go towards Hornköpfl. Make a detour to the Hornköpflhütte with a panoramic view of the Loferer Steinberge! The lake Hornköpflsee with a Kneipp area is located below the hut.
After cooling off in the lake, you hike back to the Alpenhaus refreshed. Take the Hornbahn I and II back down to the valley.
