Description

Description:
It does not always have to be skiing, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing. On nearly 81 kilometers of cleared paths, hikers wander through the snowy fairytale landscape. Cozy huts invite you to stop along the way. Sitting by the fireplace, warming up with a Jaga tea, or getting refreshed with a snack for the next kilometers – that’s how you can fully enjoy snow walks.Directions:

The winter route starts at the parking lot of the sports center and leads a short way north before crossing the federal road through an underpass. From there, the path runs past the bus stop westwards. The cleared path runs above the federal road, where snow-covered fir trees and snowy meadows shape the landscape. Passing the quiet winter Dreikreuzkapelle, the path continues through the peaceful valley to Haller.

Tip:
Cozy winter route for the whole family.Safety guidelines:
It should be noted that there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries even when winter hiking. Special attention should be paid to the trail conditions, especially in winter. Suitable clothing, good footwear, and possibly hiking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked paths.Equipment:
A modern and well-maintained equipment (shoes, poles, and clothing) not only provides a significant degree of safety but also makes winter hiking much easier. Sun protection (high SPF and possibly sunglasses) as well as enough fluids should not be forgotten.Additional information:
