The second stage has a good 1,600 meters of ascent - a good thing, because then we can indulge in the Allgäu and Tyrolean delicacies at the idyllically situated Landsberger Hütte. Over a glass of red wine, we take in the spectacular views of the day: Vilsalpsee, Schrecksee, Lachen-spitze.
Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Sure-footedness and alpine experience are a prerequisite for the sometimes steep, challenging ascents and descents. Very good physical condition required.
