A challenging day's stage lies ahead of us today. We check the weather, the route and how we feel. If everything is perfect, then we set off on a high alpine adventure of boulders, ice and scree. Easy climbing provides the right spice. At the end of the stage, the cozy Martin-Busch-Hütte awaits us, nestled in high alpine scenery.
Difficult, challenging stage on black mountain paths. Sure-footedness and high alpine experience for challenging, partly pathless terrain is required. There are passages over boulders, ice, rock slabs and scree to overcome. Fixed ropes and steel stirrups make the ascent easier. A very good level of fitness is required.
For those free from vertigo, sure-footed, and highly experienced alpine climbers; excellent physical condition, extensive mountain experience, alpine climbing equipment, safety and orientation aids, and good weather conditions are recommended. Please observe the current weather report.
Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without catering options is necessary.
