Long-distance hike Ötztal Trek Stage 22

Umhausen /
Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 21.5 km
Duration: 8:00 h

Fancy 2,333 vertical meters on the descent? Then today it's off to Ötztal-Bahnhof, our starting point over 3 weeks ago. Fancy an enjoyable finish? Then we stay at the Maisalm, spend the night here and reminisce over a glass of red wine. Either way, a trek in a class of its own comes to an end. We are proud of our achievement and also a little tired.

Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Sure-footedness and alpine experience are required for crossing ridges and steep ascents and descents. A very good level of fitness is required.
