Lots of cirques to cross today, garnished with a saddle and a ridge hike - these are the ingredients for the ninth stage of our Ötztal Trek. On top of that, our route is adorned with plenty of fantastic views of the Wildspitze, Weißkugel and Zuckerhütl. We spend the night at Brunnenkogelhaus, whose exposed location guarantees further panoramic views.
Difficult, challenging stage on black mountain paths. Sure-footedness and high alpine experience for demanding, partly rocky terrain and steep climbs is required. A very good level of fitness is required.
Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination.
