Description

The challenging summit tour starts in Nesselwängle and first leads through beautiful mixed forest to the cozy Schneetalalm. From there, the route continues via alpine paths and the Judenscharte up to the Rote Flüh (2,108 m). Some passages are secured with wire ropes, so surefootedness and a head for heights are required. The descent initially follows the same route back to below the Rote Flüh. The route then continues to the Gimpelhaus, which is ideal for a leisurely stop. From there, the route follows the hiking trail and several hairpin bends back down to Nesselwängle.
