A pleasant hike from Zöblen to the Schönkahler.Starting from Zöblen on the road to Obere Halde, guesthouse Zugspitzblick, continuing to the Schönkahler, about 2 1/2 hours. The descent is along the same route backto Zöblen. Walking time about 5 hours.

Description

Enjoy the view of the Tannheimer Tal. This hike always offers a beautiful view. Passing the mountain hotel Zugspitzblick, you enter a forest area where nature is completely untouched. The path to Schönkahler is little frequented, there you will find peace and can briefly forget everyday life.

Arrival by public transport
By train to Sonthofen, Pfronten/Ried or Reutte, then by bus to Zöblen.
Parking
On the A7 motorway at the "Oy-Mittelberg" exit, take the B310 towards Wertach and on to Oberjoch. There, follow the signs "Tannheimer Tal" B199, exit Zöblen. From the Tyrolean side via Reutte on the B198 towards Lechtal to Weißenbach, over the Gaicht pass along the B199 to the exit Zöblen.
