Description

This easy hike through the Spertental nature reserve offers an interesting insight into our local flora and fauna on its approx. 7 km circular route. Nature lovers are informed about the most common trees, plants and animals on information boards.

The starting point of the nature trail is the car park at the Hintenbachalm/Kasplatzl (accessible by car for a toll, otherwise approx. 1 hour's walk from the free Ebenau car park).

From the car park, we walk a short distance past the Kasplatzl cheese dairy and the barrier to the Sonnwendalm and continue along the Rettensteinweg towards the Karalm. From here we turn right and follow the Unteren-Grund-Weg out of the valley back to the Hintenbachalm/Kasplatzl.
