Arrival by public transport
By train to Sonthofen, Pfronten/Ried or Reutte, then by bus to Nesselwängle. Bus stop Krinnenalp lift.
The three huts route is a popular circular hiking trail with plenty of opportunities to stop for food and drink.
Note that mountain sports carry an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparation through endurance training, appropriate technical training and further education, as well as personal prudence, reduce the risk of accidents and hazards. But please never forget that the weather in the mountains can change very quickly. Stay on the marked hiking trails.
Personal mountain sports equipment must be safe, usable, and meet the respective technical standards. Every hiker is advised to inform themselves about the planned routes in alpine specialist literature or on site.
The Krinnenalpe double chairlift is currently out of operationStarting from Nesselwängle at the valley station of the Krinnenalp lift, either ascend via the forest road taking about 1 1/2 hours or use the 2-person chairlift (currently out of operation). Continue to the Krinnenalpe (overnight accommodation available) and to the Nesselwängler Edenalpe (overnight accommodation available), Alpine rose path, and further to the Gräner Ödenalpe, about 1 1/2 hours. Descent from the Gräner Ödenalpe (overnight accommodation available) towards Rauth via the Gentian path (not suitable for strollers), about 2 hours, and further to the valley station, about 1 hour. Total about 6 1/2 hours.

On the A7 motorway at the "Oy-Mittelberg" exit onto the B310 towards Wertach and Oberjoch. There follow the signposts "Tannheimer Tal" B199, exit lifts in Nesselwängle. From the Tyrol side via Reutte on the B198 towards Lechtal to Weißenbach, over the Gaicht pass along the B199 to the lifts in Nesselwängle.
Directly at the valley station of the Krinnenalp lift in Nesselwängle, parking fee applies.
