Description

From the Sulzenau bus stop via the Ruetzbach stream to the forest path, which leads moderately steeply to the Sulzenaualm pasture. During the ascent to the alpine pasture you have unique views of the mighty Grawaw waterfall. The rustic Sulzenaualm is a tempting place with handmade carved figures. The beautiful valley basin offers impressive views of the Sulzanaubach waterfall. From here, the trail leads in serpentines over a steep step up to the Sulzenau Hut, which lies near the tongue of the Sulzenauferner. Alternative via the newly constructed WildeWasserWeg. The Alpine Club hut serves as a base for many high-alpine tours and glacier tours.
