Description

Description:
Dreamlike mountain route. Wonderful impressions and views give this circular route a magnificent touch. The route can be extended either to the Gaishorn or to the Rohnenspitze.Directions:

Starting from Zöblen-Katzensteig, we hike southwards. After the last houses, it slowly goes a bit uphill. The Pontental begins. We continue to follow the path. Slowly but constantly, we gain some altitude. After the tree line, we gradually reach the mountain ridge. Here, there is the option to hike to the Rohnenspitze or the Ponten. We keep right, pass the mountain rescue hut, and shortly after arrive at the Zirleseck. Enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountain peaks here. We descend to the Älpele alpine hut. After a short break and a delicious snack, we continue downhill. Shortly before the first houses, we keep left and hike on the high path back to the starting point at Zöblen.

Tip:
Enjoy a delicious snack at the Älpele alpine hut.Safety guidelines:
