Mountain railway Gampenbahn and Kapallbahn

Open today
St. Anton am Arlberg

The chairlift takes you from St. Anton am Arlberg to the mountain station at 1,850 meters above sea level. From there, a second chairlift takes you to the summit of the Kapall (2,328 meters). Both mountain stations offer refreshment stops as well as a wealth of hiking opportunities,

We recommend because:

  • ...the Kapall Restaurant not only offers delicious Tyrolean specialties, but also a sublime view
  • ...challenging summit tours can be undertaken from the Kapall
  • ...children have plenty to discover about the local wildlife on the "Hopplweg" trail from Gampen down into the valley
