In summer, the Glungezer cable cars take guests comfortably to the middle and mountain stations, where hiking trails and MTB trails await. The middle station is also home to the Kugelwald adventure world, an exceptional excursion destination for families with children.

We recommend because:

  • ...the Zirbenweg trail to the Patscherkofel starts at the mountain station, a particularly beautiful high-altitude hiking trail with magnificent views of the Inntal valley
  • ...the "Kugelwald am Glungezer" is the world's largest wooden ball track in the great outdoors
  • ...above the Zirbensee lake, Austria's first legendary via ferrata invites all those with a head for heights to take on a vertical adventure
