From Matrei in East Tyrol, it's a quick climb up to the Goldried mountain station at 2,163 meters above sea level. There you will find an extensive hiking area in a magnificent mountain setting, which also offers challenging climbing and mountain bike routes. The crowning glory: views of the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain.
