Mountain railway Hornbahn I+II & Horngipfelbahn in Kitzbühel

A gondola lift (Hornbahn I) and an aerial tramway (Horngipfelbahn) take you from the center of Kitzbühel up to the Kitzbüheler Horn (1,996 meters). Alternatively, the second section of the Hornbahn takes guests to the Alpenhaus at 1,664 meters above sea level. Both mountain stations not only offer fantastic views, but also hiking and refreshment opportunities.

  • Alpine flower garden with more than 400 flowering high mountain plants
  • Insights into the cave-like structures formed millions and millions of years ago on the karst hiking trail
  • Kids' climbing trail for first climbing experience
