The gondola lift provides access to the hiking area on the Schlossberg above Lienz at 1,000 meters above sea level. Pleasure hikers will find easy to moderately difficult tours to beautiful viewpoints such as the Hochsteinhütte. If you want to go higher, you can change to the Hochsteinbahn.

...the Moosalm at the mountain station with its playground and petting zoo is a popular excursion destination for families
...a ride on the "Osttiroler" summer toboggan run gets the happiness hormones pumping
...the high ropes course at the mountain station is fun for young and old alike
