Hut Hochwildalm

The Hochwildalm is located at 1,557 m above Aurach near Kitzbühel and is a cozy base for hikes and ski tours, but also for families and nature enthusiasts.

Description

Nature lovers' hut at 1,557 m in the Kitzbühel Alps above Aurach (Kitzbühel), ideal for families, hikes, mountain bike tours as well as snowshoe and ski tours. Offers 10 beds in a multi-bed dormitory, a lounge for approx. 30 people and a sunny terrace; open from mid-May to the end of October and at weekends in winter.

Ascent to the hut

From the Wildalmgraben parking lot (last bend before Wildpark Aurach) via forest road: approx. 510 m in approx. 1-1.5 h

Alternative: direct ascent possible from the forest path (suitable for families)

Alternative: from Kitzbühel (Aurach) in approx. 3 h ascent possible
