Hut Voldertalhütte

The Voldertalhütte is located at 1,376 m in the Voldertal (Tux Pre-Alps) and is a family-friendly base for hikes, mountain bike tours and relaxation in unspoiled nature.

Description

Naturfreundehaus at 1,376 m in the Voldertal (Tuxer Voralpen), nestled in pine forest and alpine pastures, with an idyllic panorama and play stream around the hut. Ideal for families, hikes, mountain biking and ski tours in winter. The hut has one double room, two four-bed rooms and a dormitory with approx. 20 beds (plus emergency beds), modern sanitary facilities with running water, WLAN, playground, terrace, mobile phone reception and luggage transport. Open daily from the beginning of May to the end of October (no winter operation).

from the Volderwildbad parking lot: approx. 300 m, approx. 1 h (suitable for baby carriages and families)
from Tulfes: approx. 460 hm, approx. 2-2.5 h
with chairlift Glungezerbahn (July-September) to Halsmarter middle station, then approx. 45 min. walking time, approx. 180 hm
