Prices for a hot-air balloon ride in Tirol usually range from 250 to 400 euros per person, depending on the operator, the duration of the flight and the season.

The actual ride usually lasts around 60 to 90 minutes. Including preparation, safety briefing, setting up and dismantling, and the return journey, you should allow around three to four hours in total.

Hot-air balloon rides are available year round. Winter flights offering views of the snow-capped Alps are particularly popular, as are flights in spring and autumn, when the air is especially clear. Flights usually take off early in the morning or just before sunset.
