A vast ski area stretches around the Höfener Alpine Pasture, below the Hahnenkamm summit in the Reutte vacation region, up to an altitude of 1,900 meters where snow is guaranteed. Although the region’s largest Ski Resort is fairly compact, it still offers slopes for all skill levels. In Höfen, where the Hahnenkammbahn’s Valley station is located, there’s a practice area for beginners near the Schollenwiesenlift, and a magic carpet for children at the Top station. And for a snack between runs, it’s worth visiting the panoramic restaurant at the Top station, which offers a magnificent view of the Lechtal.
