Four resorts, a good choice for beginners and families: these are the small, fine ski resorts on the Zugspitze.
The view from the Grubigstein could hardly be more beautiful. With the mighty Zugspitze massif directly in front of you, skiers set off from the 2,100-metre-high mountain station on a fantastic descent into the Ehrwald valley basin. The Lermoos ski resort, to which the Grubigstein belongs, has a manageable selection of slopes, but offers everything from blue to black. It is connected to the small neighboring ski resort of Biberwier by a free shuttle bus. Both are part of the Tiroler Zugspitzarena and are considered particularly beginner-friendly. Children can have fun in "Biberland", snowboarders can let off steam in the fun park at the middle station in Lermoos and young and old can meet up under the floodlights at the weekly night skiing event. Several huts and restaurants offer delicious culinary delights.
