A total of 952 vertical meters are covered on the Olympic route from the valley to the mountain station of the Patscherkofel cable car. Steep passages make the tour quite a sporty undertaking.
The starting point is the parking lot (P1) on Heiligwasserweg in the Innsbruck district of Igls. Always on the edge of the piste, the route follows the signposted route past the children's lift and continues along the Olympic downhill run to the Patscherkofelbahn mountain station. There, at 1,957 meters above sea level, you will find the Patscherkofel shelter and the mountain restaurant "Das Kofel".
