The ski tour up the Faltegartenköpfl is a pleasure from start to finish. Even the Feldringalm, which you pass on the way up, is breathtakingly beautiful on the plateau of the same name and basks in the sun until evening—and it stays that way all the way to the summit.
The ski tour to the Faltegartenköpfl (2,184 m) from Sattele is a varied and scenic route with an elevation gain of about 800 meters. The ascent begins at the Sattele parking lot and leads across easily traversable alpine meadows and gently rising slopes, which are particularly popular with ski tourers of moderate experience. Along the way, fantastic views of the surrounding peaks of the Sellrain open up. The summit itself offers an impressive panorama and is the perfect spot for a short rest. The descent is over open slopes.
