Sporty tour with gentle ascents and a few flat sections. Tip to warm up: access the Leithe Wirt by starting at “Sunliner bottom station” or “Hotel Bär” in Serfaus.
Route 5 starts at Leithe Wirt restaurant. There, the route runs into route 6 – Komperdell, both crossing piste no. 89. Continues on Waalweg (winter hiking trail). After about 15 minutes, the route branches off to the right on piste no 104. Stay on the right edge of the slope and cross piste no. 89 once again. Continue your ascent with few flat and steeper sections. Depending on the snow conditions, you have to cross piste no. 104 twice. The crossings are straightforward and clearly signposted. Then, the route offers magnificent views and leads you in gentle ascents to the destination: Planseggbahn top station.
