Description

The start at the practice lift in Aschau runs on the left edge of the piste. The entire ascent runs along ski route 56. As a result, there is far less oncoming traffic from winter sports enthusiasts than on the ski slopes. The ascent route runs over long distances through the forest and crosses at an altitude of 1,340 m along the summer path Aschauer Höhenweg into the Usterkar. Within sight of the Usterkaralmen, continue to climb the ridge. Follow this to the Hochsaukaser / Hieslegg mountain station area.

Additional route entry for the Schwarzkogel - Aschau piste ski tour:
Directly from the bus turning point, in the Aschauer-Hof and Gredwirt area, the route entry leads over the slope ramp between the houses in approx. 200 m to the main route (signposted). The exit from the ski bus takes place directly at the starting point of the route. The entry point is marked with a start board including route information and elevation profile.

Bypassing steep slopes:
In the upper third of ascent route 2 - Schwarzkogel, depending on the snow conditions, there are signs to bypass steep slope areas in the area close to the slopes or in the adjacent forest. Steep, partly confusing slope areas are bypassed in a pleasant incline.
