Description

Lake Urisee is idyllically nestled in the Reutte Nature Park region and impresses with its natural beauty despite its small size. With an area of 6 hectares and a maximum depth of 36 meters, the Urisee is a true natural gem.

Bathing and sunbathing

In summer, the water warms up to a pleasant 23 degrees and offers ideal refreshment after a hike. The Urisee lido is also open during this time: a kiosk offers typical swimming pool fare such as chips, sausages, various types of ice cream and drinks. Along the shore, sunbathing lawns with sun and shade invite you to relax, while wooden jetties are perfect places to dangle your feet in the clear water. The turquoise water is of excellent quality and ensures unadulterated bathing pleasure.

Diving

Lake Uri is also a special attraction for divers. With a visibility of up to 20 meters and an impressive underwater landscape ranging from bizarre rock formations to trees overgrown with slime algae, the lake offers an extraordinary diving experience. There are also five platforms available for training dives. The depth of the lake and the rapid drop in temperature below the upper layer of water make the dive a varied adventure.

Fishing

Anglers will also find ideal conditions at Lake Uri. The lake is a habitat for trout, char, perch and tench. Various fishing techniques can be practiced here, such as seat fishing or fly fishing, although fishing from a boat is not permitted. Particularly attractive: night fishing is permitted on Lake Uri and offers a unique atmosphere. Fishing permits, information and regulations: www.hejfish.com/d/12123-urisee

As Lake Uri has neither an inflow nor an outflow, the water level varies by up to four meters depending on the season. This characteristic makes it a fascinating natural body of water that attracts both those seeking relaxation and active sports enthusiasts.
