A visit to a thermal spa is the perfect choice, especially in bad weather – after all, fun and variety are guaranteed thanks to family friendly facilities and attractions for children. But not just then! In the evening, after a spot of sport or simply after being active outdoors, a visit to a thermal spa is the ideal way to ease tired muscles and relax in the blissfully warm water.

From small but charming spas to exclusive spas with a luxurious ambience – Tirol has spas to suit every taste. Many spas are also very family-friendly and offer a wide range of offers for little water lovers. Examples include the Alpentherme Ehrenberg and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal. Other thermal spas, on the other hand, specialise more in the needs of couples, such as the exclusive Silvretta Alps Therme Ischgl or the Aqua Dome Längenfeld.

Several thermal spas in Tirol are geared towards families with children. The Alpentherme Ehrenberg and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal, in particular, offer family friendly areas and a wide variety of water attractions. At the Erlebnistherme Zillertal, entertainment is provided by, amongst other things, two giant water slides, a wave pool and a children’s area.
